Joel Wood works directly with clients in a consulting role called a Lawn Account Manager. Joel is a 2003 graduate of Iowa State University having earned a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture Degree. While attending Iowa State University, Joel interned on the Iowas Living Roadways Project beautifying towns and roadways throughout the state. Upon graduating from Iowa State, Joel moved to Minnesota and spent four years with the large commercial firm Yaggy Colby & Associates. With YC&A, Joel provided technical expertise in, on site design, storm water management, grading, erosion, large and small scale planting plans, and project management.

In 2007, Joel moved to the City of Austin to pursue his passion of design, construction, and property management. Joels strengths include managing landscapes through the design and construction phase and overseeing their ongoing maintenance needs. Joel can design a natural native low maintenance, low water landscape or make your property bloom with an eclectic array of specimen plants.
